The Boulders in Babinda on our way down from Palm Cove to Paronella Park. Apparently Babinda is the wettest place in Oz. This place has unfortunately claimed many lives as ylou could well imagine in the wet season. It is absolutely gorgeous here.

 

 

Rock Art. Awesome skimmers here Dad. Of course the family champ for skimming is ME!!!!!!!! Jase claims shoulder surgery hinders him. Tait thinks he is the champ, we will let him dream! I say, I come from a long line of skimmers!!!!

 

 

Some dude called Paronella from Spain decided he wanted to build a palace and castle for the public here in the rainforest. He came and made 22,000 pounds which was astronomical in 1917. He hand built this place with mortar and stones. Phenominal effort and opened it to the public. It is situated right next to Mena Falls so they are incorporated too. My highlight was seeing Fire Flies, their bums are sooooooooo bright!!!!! And they bumble around so aimlessly bumping into leaves and flowers, quite gorgeous.

 

 

This view is directly out the front of our camp site at Mission Beach. Not bad hey? Was really damaged due to recent cyclones so it was nice to inject some money into the local community. Went out for dinner for a Pig on the Spit for Fathers Day....

The very gorgeous Horseshoe Bay.......

 

 

They call me the Gladiator!!!! An absolute outdoor mad nut he is, running, swimming, riding, climbing whatever!!!! He is soooooooo heavy to pick up and cuddle now!!!

And again another gorgeous bay called Hydeaway!!!! Notice the yachts. A very off the rod untouched beach. Literally had it to ourselves. Amazing. Awesome shells here, so M had a ball.
